Amir,
Thank you for the photo...Assalamualaikum En. Amir,

Thank you for the photos and for taking me down memory lane. I get nostalgic every time I see pictures of Batu Gajah. Childhood memories would flood my mind then. Like you, I am a daughter of Batu Gajah since I was born and I have always loved it. You mentioned that your dad was a teacher and your grandfather was a headmaster. We have something in common there as well as my dad used to be the headmaster of the Sek. Keb. Batu Gajah which is now SK Toh Ahmad Indera Wangsa. They would probably know each other being in the same profession. After all, how big is Batu Gajah right?

From my calculation I would say you would be the same age as my younger brother, Muhammad Akhir. However I don't think you would know him as he did his primary in my dad's school and after that ACS, Ipoh. But if you had attended kindergarten at the old royal school, then you might know him.

My siblings still come back to the family home during festivals and kenduris. My parents have since passed but my elder brother is still staying there. Well, it's nice chatting with a fellow BGian once in a while. Keep posting those photos of BG, better yet post photos of yesteryear so we may remember what the town was like before all these development.

Salam.

Sincerely,
Mazli Mazlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12233968789849491097noreply@blogger.com
